Naturally Control Blood Pressure

Blood Pressure (BP) is pressure exerted by circulating blood on the walls of your veins. Pressure decreases as the blood moves away from the Heart through Arteries and back to the heart through veins.

High Blood Pressure or Hypertension is the silent killer. Usually there are no symptoms until the condition causes other serious conditions to arise. Hypertension will cause Strokes, Heart Attacks, Kidney Damage as well as Impotence. High pressure in the veins causes damage to the capillaries which impairs blood flow resulting in the inability to have or maintain an erection. Once this sets in it is Irreversible

Your blood Pressure is usually taken on the upper arm, either Right or Left using the major blood vessels located there.

Two pressures are recorded, the Systolic and the Diastolic. The Systolic is your blood pressure when your heart is forcing blood through your Arteries. The Diastolic is when your Heart is at rest. Naturally the systolic pressure will be higher than the Diastolic Pressure. These two pressures are referred to as Systolic over Diastolic.

A normal healthy adult 18yr and older will have a blood pressure reading of 90-119 over 60-79.

Pre-Hypertension readings will be 120-139 over 80-89. At this stage your Blood Pressure is slightly elevated and should be monitored by your family doctor.

Stage 1 Hypertension you have readings of 140-159 over 90-99. You are in need of help from a Doctor. Don’t underestimate the serious of this disease. Although it is virtually symptomless it is steadily causing damage to your body. You require some form of control at this stage.

Stage 2 Hypertension you have readings of >160 over >100. At this stage Medication is required under the care of a physician to lower your pressures before something serious occurs.

Let me repeat myself. Hypertension has no Symptoms. It is steadily causing damage to your Capillary System. Hypertension can cause Strokes, Heart Attacks, Kidney Damage and Impotence.

Staying active is your first line of defense against Hypertension.
